By Football Italian staff The Juventus president is hoping for a big transfer window and that Rizzolatti could arrive as soon as the transfer window opens.
“I hope it will be before the deadline but if it doesn’t, I will have to give up.
I have always had a problem with transfer windows, they are not very long.
I would have preferred to have done it now but there are many other things I want to achieve,” Massimiliano Allegri said.
Rizzolacci has been in talks with Juventus over a transfer but has only made one offer so far.
The former Lazio star has made two offers this summer for around €40m and the Nerazzurri have been reluctant to sell.
Juventus are looking to bolster their squad but the Serie A giants will be without Mario Balotelli, Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain this season, while Andrea Barzagli is still on loan at Roma.
Razzolatti has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Inter Milan, but the Rossoneri president is convinced that Juventus can get rid of him for less than the €60m they paid for him.
“This is a very complicated deal, I’m not interested in selling a player for less money than what we have received for him,” he said.
“In all the negotiations we’ve been in, it is a good contract.
The money is right for the player.”
